Maurice Chevalier by Eiffel Tower, the circa 1950s art print featuring artwork of the Eiffel Tower with Maurice Chevalier in the background by Charles Kiffer. Kiffer was well known for his portraits of stars such as Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Josephine Baker, Brigitte Bardo, and many more. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had tiny tears, creases, and some smudges around the edges, with a few faint smudges scattered in the image, and some noticeable horizontal creases in the middle right of the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
