An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Black Shadows, the 1923 Edward A. Salisbury silent South Seas Islands documentary travelogue. Director/star Edward Salisbury led an expedition to the South Seas Islands including Fiji, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands. While there, they saw real life headhunters, volcanoes, Robert Louis Stevenson's grave, and observed how the natives lived! The only original movie paper we have ever seen from this is a single lobby card! Condition: poor. There is much brown staining in the top of the card, with many smudges and stains around the edges. There are also pinholes and tears in the borders. Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
