Cline Depression-era romantic love triangle melodrama (about unemployed workers who get a new lease on life through the government's CCC program; "Action! Romance! Song!", "A swell boy and girl romance set against the thrilling background of Uncle Sam's great peacetime army...the C.C.C. with Joe Morrison singing of a new round-up of a million men in khaki.") starring Joe Morrison, Paul Kelly, Charles 'Chic' Sale, Rosalind Keith, Baby LeRoy, Dean Jagger, William Frawley, and Oscar Polk. Note that this movie was co-written by Arthur Lake, who soon turned to acting and became Dagwood Bumstead in the "Blondie" series, and in 1943, he starred in a Blondie movie called "It's a Great Life", which otherwise has no relationship to this movie! Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
