If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the card measures very slightly under 14" x 22" (an extremely tiny amount in each direction!) and has no left, right, or bottom blank borders, but it has NOT been trimmed (this was done at a time when MGM was experimenting with having as few borders as possible). Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a heavy paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the window card's blank top was trimmed off, and also the very top edge of the image, slightly affecting the top of the "J" of "Joan". The right 2" of the card was trimmed off, affecting the ends of the credits and title, and Crawford's arm. The part of the card that was present was in nice condition. Overall, the window card was in poor condition prior to paperbacking (because of the trimming on the right). A talented restorer replaced the missing area, and while you can tell that there has been restoration in that area, it was nicely done, and the card will display well on the new owner's wall. However, please do not bid on this card unless you can accept the portion of image replacement it has had. Learn More about condition grades
