Till the end of time!"; "Back at last... eager to get their arms around a girl!"; "A returned war hero... a girl back home!"; about G.I.'s returning home from the war; for unknown reasons, this movie is shown a jillion times on AMC!) starring Dorothy McGuire, Guy Madison, Robert Mitchum (in an early "better" role, that helped him get much better parts), Bill Williams, Tom Tully, William Gargan, Jean Porter, Johnny Sands, Loren Tindall, Selena Royle, and Caleb Peterson (as the uncredited black G.I. in the arcade saloon) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Averardo Ciriello Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1947 first release Italian one-panel, and we have never auctioned ANY first release Italian posters from this movie. Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in Italy, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1947. Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube). The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and very minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
