Der Verteidiger hat das Wort (literally translates to "The Defendant Has the Word"), the 1944 Werner Klingler German crime melodrama starring Heinrich George, Carla Rust, Rudolf Fernau, Margit Symo, and Karl Schonbock. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned an example of this poster! It is an extremely rare "country of origin" German poster from during World War II! Virtually no German posters survive from during World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards.

Condition: very good. The poster has minor fold and border wear. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
