Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had darkened. It had paper loss at the middle crossfold and smaller paper loss at the top crossfold, with some separation and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Unfortunately, after the poster was backed, it was handled extremely roughly, and has major creases in the bottom 3" that appear to have caused some paper loss in the poster. Please bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this poster.
