An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 15 1/4" x 35 3/4" [39 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) The Last Train From Madrid, the 1937 James P. Hogan Spain Spanish Civil War romantic melodrama ("Based on a story by Paul Hervey Fox and Elsie Fox"; about seven very different people who are trapped in Madrid just as the Spanish Civil War is breaking out, and they are desperate to get on what appears to be the last train leaving) starring Dorothy Lamour, Lew Ayres, Gilbert Roland, Karen Morley, Lionel Atwill, Helen Mack, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), and Anthony Quinn (in an early role!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Richardson Studio Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 15 1/4" x 35 3/4" [39 x 91 cm]. Condition: good. The poster was likely found next to floorboards and it has uneven staining and a pattern on back (possibly from linoleum). There are a few small tears around the blank borders and there is one line of paper loss at upper right that slightly extends into the red background. Still, though, the art of the poster is "all there" and after some proper restoration the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
