An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Benton Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Porter Wagoner Show, the 1971 country music concert featuring Porter Wagoner and the Wagonmasters, Dolly Parton, and Speck Rhodes that was held at the Kenan Memorial Auditorium in Kenansville, North Carolina on Saturday, December 11. This concert featured two shows and was sponsored by the Duplin County Firemen & Law Enforcement Officers. Note that we don't know if this card, which was created by the Benton Card Company, was solely created when the show first played, or if they continued to sell the card for years after (the card clearly appears to be at least 30 years old). If anyone knows more about this card, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the uncertainty as to exactly when it is from. Important Added Info: This card is made by the Benton Card Company which is a different company than the one that printed most of the window cards at that time. The Benton Card Company made mostly two-color window cards that used blown up newspaper ads. They sold their window cards cheaper than the regular ones, so many theaters used them. In the 1970s, someone bought the company and made reprints of earlier titles, but those are clearly marked. The window card offered here is from the original release of this movie! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. There are some faint dot water stains around the edges of the card.
