He is best remembered for his classic appearance as "Renfield" in the 1931 version of "Dracula". Some of his other movies include: The Maltese Falcon, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man. Frye passed away in 1943 at the age of 44 from a heart attack. Important Added Info: Note that the movie ("The Shadow") is called "Carnival Lady" on the back of this still, which was the working title for this movie! Condition: very good to fine.
