An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Half a Hero, the 1953 Don Weis medical nurse romantic love triangle screwball comedy ("Red Skelton In Double Trouble!"; "MGM'S riotous comedy!") starring Red Skelton, Jean Hagen, Polly Bergen (billed as "Guest Appearance Polly Bergen", in a cameo role as herself!), Charles Dingle, Billie Bird, and Hugh Corcoran NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster had a quarter-sized area of paper loss at the top crossfold and a semi-circular tear in the top left of Skelton's forehead, running up to the white background just below the "T" of Skelton at top center. There were some tears and tiny areas of paper loss on some foldlines and paper loss on the center of the top and bottom borders. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
