From the 1984 Japanese double-bill release ("The Hitchcock Festival") of Alfred Hitchcock's Rope, the classic 1948 Alfred Hitchcock crime thriller ("Nothing ever held you like Alfred Hitchcock's ROPE"; loosely based on the Leopold/Loeb child murder trial; this movie had a gimmick in that the entire movie took place in what appears to be one extremely long "take"; to me, it just made it seem like watching a stage play, and took away what differentiates a movie from a stage play!; "It begins with a shriek it ends with a shot!
