If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this three-sheet! Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release! Also note that, very oddly, this three-sheet was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap! Virtually all three-sheets from this time period were printed in two sections. We wonder if the printer who printed this did not have a press big enough to print a larger section, so that is why they printed it in three sections. What an unusual poster! Condition: good. As noted above, the poster is printed in three sections and someone put tape on the back of the top two sections where they joined, but sadly, they were not paying attention, and part of the image was duplicated from the bottom of the top section to the top of the middle section, but they taped it so that the duplicated parts both show! One could cut the poster along the taped area and then re-attach it correctly so that the overlapping area that is not supposed to show no longer shows, but bear in mind this VERY unusual defect before bidding. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. Learn More about condition grades
