An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Told in the Hills, the 1919 George Melford silent romantic cowboy western melodrama ("Even to win the woman he loved he could not break his years-long silence."; "By Marah Ellis Ryan"; a convoluted story about a man who seduces his teenage ward and when she becomes pregnant, his brother marries her, but then runs off and lives in Montana, where he tells people he is a "squaw man", meaning he is married to an Indian woman; after many adventures, he finds out that his wife has died, leaving him free to marry his true love, who believed in him in spite of his many shortcomings!) starring Robert Warwick, Ann Little, Tom Forman, Wanda Hawley, and Jack Hoxie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
