Green & Jack Pickford family relationship silent melodrama ("From Frances Hodgson Burnett's famous story"; about the young son of an English Earl, and his father passes away, and his father's relatives have him come live at his father's grand estate, but they don't allow his mother, whom they disapproved of to live with him, but rather she has to live nearby!) starring Mary Pickford (in a dual role, both in the title role as a boy, AND as the title character's mother, "Dearest"!), Claude Gillingwater, Joseph J. Dowling, James A. Marcus, and Kate Price NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see. Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. The slide is in nice condition!
