Howard silent New York City police mistaken identity comedy ("Adapted from the Saturday Evening Post Story 'The Tropic of Capricorn' by Richard Connell'"; "All but one question --- 'Where is the Tropic of Capricorn?'"; about an Irish immigrant who tries to become a police officer, but he fails the admission tests; when he is lent a uniform to go to a costume party, he is mistaken for a real policeman and stops a crime, and is allowed to become a real police officer) starring Owen Moore, Marguerite De La Motte, Mary Carr, Eddie Gribbon, and Francis McDonald. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99!
