An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Wardrobe Test Photo (Learn More) With a Song in my Heart, the 1952 Walter Lang romantic biography musical ("The Jane Froman Story"; about the singer, Jane Froman, who became a popular star in the early 1940s, and who went on a plane to entertain the troops, and the plane crashed, and she was injured and could only walk with crutches, but she still went on to entertain the troops!) starring Susan Hayward (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Jane Froman), Rory Calhoun, David Wayne, Thelma Ritter (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Robert Wagner, Helen Westcott, Una Merkel, Richard Allan, and Max Showalter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a test photo used to show one of the many costumes that Susan Hayward wore during this movie (the stars would put on each costume and stand next to a board with the details of when that costume was used in the movie, and then they would try on a different one and repeat the process, until they had tried on all their costumes; I wonder if major stars of today have to endure this same ritual?). Also note that it is extremely likely that this is a "key book" still, and it is virtually a certainty that the punch holes were put there by the studio at the time the still was created, so they are not a defect.
