An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Hangover Square, the 1945 John Brahm London England music composer amnesia crime murder horror thriller ("Horror was never so fascinating!"; "Based on the Novel by Partrick Hamilton"; Cregar is a composer who goes mad and commits murders he does not later remember; this was Cregar's first lead role after several memorable secondary roles; he wanted to remain a leading man, and he went on a massive crash diet after this movie was completed, losing 100 pounds, which sadly caused a heart attack, and he died soon after) starring Laird Cregar, Linda Darnell, George Sanders, Glenn Langan, Faye Marlowe, and Alan Napier NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in parts of some folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
