An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More)

A Connecticut Yankee by Mark Twain, the 1931 David Butler fantasy time travel comedy spoof ("By Mark Twain"; about a small town man who meets an inventor who thinks he can contact King Arthur by radio; after the typical "bump on the head", Rogers wakes up in the real life Camelot, and has many adventures before returning to the present day; as in "The Wizard of Oz", the Camelot characters and the present day characters are played by the same actors) starring Will Rogers, Maureen O'Sullivan (in her fifth movie, and she is second billed!), Myrna Loy, Frank Albertson, William Farnum (as King Arthur/Inventor), and Brandon Hurst (as Merlin/Doctor)

Condition: good. water stains, discoloration, and light rippling throughout the card; theater name and play dates snipe in the blank area at the top of the card (held in place with two staples); paper loss in the lower left blank corner (see the image below); horizontal crease across the middle of the card as well as smudges, scuffs, and minor creases throughout the card (more so around the edges); Note that this is the kind of window card that responds well to restoration! The water stains can almost surely be removed by chemical means, and the card would look great, without a lot of paint anywhere on it. But please do not bid on this window card unless you can accept its defects or are willing to have it restored!
