An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Pin Up Girl, the 1944 H. Bruce Humberstone World War II (WWII) Home Front military romantic musical comedy ("Based on a story by Libbie Block") starring Betty Grable, John Harvey, Martha Raye, Joe E. Brown, Eugene Pallette, Dorothea Kent, Hermes Pan, Doris Merrick, "Skating Vanities" (specialty ice skaters who appeared in this one movie), and Charlie Spivak and His Orchestra. Note that it was natural for Betty Grable to star in this movie, because she was the number one pin-up of servicemen during World War II!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front. The poster has darkened and has become quite fragile. There are different pieces of tape used on the back, and some make the poster difficult to fold. The poster is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above, and after, the poster will display really well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
