An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Home Made, the 1927 Charles Hines silent New York City romantic screwball comedy ("From the story by C.B. Carrington"; a wacky story of a young man who is a would-be entertainer, and he goes to New York, but the only job he gets is as a waiter; while working at a party, he meets some people there who think he is a guest, and he plays along, while still acting as a waiter, and he even does ventriloquism to make it appear that he is talking over the radio!) starring Johnny Hines, Margaret Seddon, DeWitt Jennings, Maude Turner Gordon, Edmund Breese, Marjorie Daw, and Charles K. Gerrard. Note that this movie was a real "family affair", because star Johnny Hines was the brother of director Charles Hines! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges. Learn More about condition grades
