An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Slightly Used, the 1927 Archie Mayo silent romantic love triangle comedy ("Adapted from the story by Melville Crosman"; a clever twist on the Enoch Arden story, where a young woman is tired of being unmarried, so she pretends to be married to an army major she read about, who is conveniently stationed overseas; but then, she meets another man she really likes, so she pretends her "husband" was killed in action, and she has that put in the newspaper; but then the real major reads about it, and he shows up in her town, saying he has returned from the dead, and wanting to resume their "marriage", and when she falls in love with him, they do!) starring May McAvoy, Conrad Nagel, Robert Agnew, Audrey Ferris, and Anders Randolf. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
