An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Commotion on the Ocean, the 1956 Jules White slapstick comedy short ("The biggest wave of wackiness yet!"; "A Columbia Short Subject"; in this entry, the Stooges are tricked into becoming stowaways by a Russian spy) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard), Gene Roth, and Emil Sitka. Note that Shemp died almost a year before this film was released and much of the footage is from previous movies. Any new shots of "Shemp" were actually of stuntman Joe Palma. Also note that this short reused footage from 1949's "Dunked in the Deep". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some scuffs and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, with some pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
