An Original 1928 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Mademoiselle from Armentieres, the 1927 (released in the U.S. in 1928) Maurice Elvey English silent World War I (WWI) romantic melodrama starring John Stuart, Alf Goddard, Humberston Wright, Gabriel Rosca, Estelle Brody (in the title role as Mademoiselle), and Clifford Heatherley. Note that we could not find a plot summary for this movie, but there is some fascinating trivia about it! The title is the title of an English song from World War I that anyone over 60 likely remembers, not by that title, but by either its faux French title "Inky Pinky Parlez Vous", or its common American title "Hinky Dinky Parlez-vous". We are not certain how the song connects to the movie, but maybe someone reading this can find out! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a handful of stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There is a tape repair on the back of the bottom center of the card.
