Donzoko (released in the U.S. in 1962 as "The Lower Depths"), the 1957 Akira Kurosawa Japanese poor-people-and-how-they-survive romantic melodrama (based on the play 'The Lower Depths' by Maxim Gorky; Kurosawa took Maxim Gorky's play and transplanted it to Japan, where the thieves and beggars have similar problems to their Russian counterparts) starring Toshiro Mifune, Isuzu Yamada, Kyoko Kagawa, Ganjiro Nakamura, and Minoru Chiaki

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded, but there are some faint horizontal creases scattered through the poster (likely caused when it was rolled). There are pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
