Date Sold 9/25/2016 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 13 3/4" [28 x 35 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Allan 'Rocky' Lane was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. He started in the early 1930s in straight dramatic roles, returned in 1937 in more dramatic roles, and then found his niche in westerns and serials in the 1940s. Some of his movies include: The Tiger Woman and Silver City Kid among scores of others. He played "Red Ryder" in many movies, and his horse was named Black Jack. He was also the title role on TV's "Mister Ed"! He passed away in 1973 at the age of 64. Important Added Info: Note that these are deluxe stills printed on double weight paper stock. We know that one of these stills is from "Oregon Trail Scouts" and one is from "Rustlers of Devil's Canyon", both from 1947, because those have still codes on them, and the other two may be from the same or different movies (amusingly, someone THOUGHT that they knew who the actor in each of these was, and they kind of remembered, but they wrote "Alan Hale" on the back of each, and of course, this is actually "Allan Lane", better known as "Alan 'Rocky' Lane").
