Artist: Tom Jung Important Added Info: Note that sometime in the late 1970s, both the National Screen Service and the movie studios would sometimes print posters for the same film. Both posters would have the same images and art but the studio-printed posters would lack the NSS identification information normally found at the bottom of posters printed by the National Screen Service. Both are theatrical posters and 100% original. The poster offered here was printed by the National Screen Service! Note also that this poster has a slight printing issue that only affects the last characters of the Title and NSS number in the bottom white border. All of the Empire style B posters that were produced by the National Screen Service are like this and it is not considered a defect. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! Condition: fair. The poster was exposed to moisture with some type of bleaching agent which has discolored the upper horizontal fold (see our image). It has darkened along other portions of the fold.
