Important Added Info: Note that this classic English sex comedy was first released in the U.S. by tiny Lopert Films, and a "pre-awards" one-sheet was created for that release. After it achieved great success in a short time, and won the Academy Award, Lopert issued an "Academy awards" one-sheet, but then United Artists gave it a wider release with all new posters. The Lopert one-sheet offered here is from the very first U.S. release before the Academy Awards! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with a slight extra vertical fold near to the middle of the regular one, and some minor wear on the folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
