From beginning to end nothing ever held you like Alfred Hitchcock's Rope"; "Screen play by Arthur Laurents"; "From the play by Patrick Hamilton"; loosely based on the Leopold/Loeb child murder trial; this movie had a gimmick in that the entire movie took place in what appears to be one extremely long "take"; to me, it just made it seem like watching a stage play, and took away what differentiates a movie from a stage play!) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), John Dall, Farley Granger, Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"), Constance Collier, Joan Chandler, (in her second movie role; one of only three movies she did in her entire career!) Douglas Dick, Dick Hogan, and Edith Evanson. Note that this was Hitchcock's first color film. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. There is a tiny pinhole in the left and right of the top border, in the right of the blank bottom border, and in the bottom of the right blank border. Other than those four tiny pinholes, the card is in excellent condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
