Important Added Info: Note that this two-page trade ad appeared in the February 4, 1953 issue of Variety. Variety was printed on newsprint at this time, like a newspaper. The ad had printing on the reverse, and the person who backed it wisely used black rice paper behind it rather than white rice paper, because that makes the "bleed-through" from the writing on the back far less than it would be had they used white paper (see our image). Also note that because of the size of this trade ad, it could be sent rolled in a tube, or it could be sent in a large flat package (which would make sense to do if the winning bidder has other large flat items to combine it with).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The trade ad had slight border wear and had slightly darkened. Overall, the trade ad was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The trade ad was nicely backed, and displays well!
