An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Sea Devils, the 1937 Ben Stoloff Coast Guard military sailor court romantic love triangle melodrama ("Gangway for the Coast Guard!... Here come two of the boys with different ideas about the same girl - but she has ideas of her own!"; the war story that was likely already old in 1937, about a new young sailor who clashes with his crusty old superior, and he falls for the older man's daughter, and her father is very opposed to the relationship!) starring Victor McLaglen, Preston Foster, Ida Lupino, Donald Woods, and Helen Flint NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Condition: very good to fine. The still is lightly rippled in the bottom 1", from when the snipe was glued to the back, but otherwise, it is in quite nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
