Than when they met Frankenstein!"; "Help") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Boris Karloff, Lenore Aubert, and Gar Moore. Note that this movie was originally titled "Easy Does It", and it was intended to be a Bob Hope comedy! However, the movie "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" had just come out and was a huge hit, and Universal reworked the script for Abbott & Costello, and changed the title to "Abbott and Costello Meet the Killers"! In that script, the lead villain was a FEMALE character named "Madame Switzer"! Five days before shooting began, Boris Karloff was hired, and the character became a swami, and the title of the movie was changed yet again, to include Boris Karloff's name! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]. However, the trimming does not affect the image, because Universal used the square six-sheet image on their window cards at this time, so they had a large blank top and bottom area (see our image). Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good. The window card was never folded. The blank top was trimmed off. There is paper loss in the top that affects the image background. The top right corner was detached and re-attached with glue and tape from the reverse. The card has darkened somewhat.
