An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Pick Up, the 1933 Marion Gering pre-Code romantic bad girl crime thriller ("She was easy to get but hard to forget"; "By Vina Delmar author of 'Bad Girl'"; about a female ex-convict who has a romance with a cab driver, but she has a jealous criminal husband who breaks out of jail and wants her back) starring Sylvia Sidney, George Raft, William Harrigan, Lilian Bond, Clarence Wilson, George Meeker, and Louise Beavers. Note that in 1951, Hugo Haas made a movie of the same name, starring Beverly Michaels and himself, but it has no official relation to this movie except for the name and the similar advertising. That movie was titled "Pickup", and this one is titled "Pick Up" (the IMDb claims its title is "Pick-up", but we think they are simply wrong, because all the original advertising says "Pick Up").

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this lobby card, and that was 9 years ago. That card has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. There is a pinhole in the right of the top blank border and a "bump" in the "un" of "Paramount" at bottom right. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
