Frugal theater owners would get one of these posters and use it every time they showed a Tim McCoy movie (they could write the title in the blank area, or glue on a paper snipe getting many uses out of a single poster!). Important Added Info: Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Luxor Films for use by theaters showing 1930s Tim McCoy movies. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area at bottom. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. Most collectors consider them more valuable with a printed snipe attached, or with an overprinted snipe area. Condition: very good to fine.
