An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Man Against Woman, the 1932 Irving Cummings New York City police detective romantic crime thriller ("A battle of wits - of strength against beauty - a man's brain against a woman's wiles!"; "Man's weapons against a woman's wiles!"; a wacky story of a detective who falls for a pretty floozy and he ends up losing his job because she causes him to let a crook go free, but after many adventures, he gets his job back and arrests her, but then gets her paroled into his custody where he gives her a wedding ring) starring Jack Holt, Walter Connolly, Emmett Corrigan, Jack La Rue, and Lillian Miles. Note that Jack Holt is a police detective whose nickname is "Strong Arm" because he likes to beat the answers out of the people he interrogates.
