An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Internes Can't Take Money (released in England as "You Can't Take Money"; released in other English-speaking countries as "Student Doctors Can't Take Money"), the 1937 Alfred Santell medical hospital doctor crime thriller (this was the first of the Dr. Kildare series; in this first movie only, Kildare was played by Joel McCrea; in subsequent movies he was played by Lew Ayres) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea (as Dr. Kildare), Lloyd Nolan, Stanley Ridges, and Lee Bowman. Note that the word "intern" as used for an apprentice doctor in the U.S. is apparently not used in England or Australia, because they had to change the title so as to not use that word, surely because their citizens would not understand what it meant! Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is water staining down the right edge and in the right of the bottom, and it extends into the yellow background. There are two pinholes near the center. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
