If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster's borders were trimmed off, including the small printer and litho information from the bottom border. The poster also had paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with small tears and tiny paper loss scattered down the vertical fold. It had pinholes, tears, and some small paper loss around the edges, and some pinholes near the center of the poster. It had paper loss in the middle left of the image, in the area at the bottom of the cape, and extending to the top of the Mad Doctor's hair. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who backed the poster did a pretty good job, and it displays pretty well, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Also, they replaced the blank borders with blank borders from other posters, and they did not attempt to recreate the missing text from the bottom border. In spite of the above defects and restoration, the poster will display pretty well on the new owner's wall, but please bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this cool poster.
