Leeds New York City romantic crime murder thriller ("Original story by Jerome Cady"; "You'll gasp between laughs!"; about a woman who is engaged to a dsitrict attorney, and after he is falsely convicted of murder, she, with the help of a former gangster, helps save his life) starring Gloria Stuart, Michael Whalen, Paul Kelly, Robert Kellard, June Storey, Paul Hurst, and Leon Ames. Note that the title "Island in the Sky" refers to a restaurant on the top floor of a 70 story Manhattan skyscraper (decades later, the World Trade Center would have the "Window on the World" restaurant on its top floor). Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
