An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (measures 40" x 60") (Learn More) The Invisible Boy, the 1957 Herman Hoffman science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("The science-monster who would destroy the world!"; "Horror grips the earth as robot runs amok!"; "Screen Play by Cyril Hume"; "Based On The Story By Edmund Cooper") starring Richard Eyer, Philip Abbott, Diane Brewster, Harold Stone, Robert H. Harris, and Robby the Robot (who was so memorable in "Forbidden Planet" the year before). Note that there are those who speculate that one of the main reasons Robby the Robot appears in this movie is because MGM had spent a LOT of money creating him for Forbidden Planet, and they wanted to recoup some of that money by casting him in another film! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Mort Kunstler Important Added Info: The poster has a 2" tear in the center of the top border. There are creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster. There are some creases, smudges, and light stains throughout the image area, but they are mostly not very distracting, and mostly in the solid yellow background areas. There is paper tape on the back of the middle of the left border that was put there to repair a tear and three 6" long pieces of masking tape on the back of the bottom of the poster, that were not put there to repair anything, but were likely used to attach the poster to a wall. Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult!
