Important Added Info: Note that we believe that this poster is from a 1940s roadshow re-release of this 1938 movie (these kinds of movies were often shown in small towns in late night or midnight shows on the weekend for one week only). This is one of three different one-sheets we have seen for this movie (only one style says "Mack Enterprise Presents" at the top)! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was slightly roughly handled after it was backed, and it acquired creases in the top of the right excess linen, and one of the creases slightly enters the blank border of the poster near the very top. Of course, this will not show when the poster is framed, and it mostly only affects the excess linen. Learn More about condition grades
