An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Mollycoddle, the 1920 Victor Fleming silent Hopi Native American Indian romantic adventure comedy ("Story by Harold MacGrath"; about an American raised in Monte Carlo, who is a polo player, who always wears evening clothes, and he goes to visit his birthplace in Arizona on Indian land, and he has many adventures) starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr., Wallace Beery, Morris Hughes, George Stewart, and Ruth Renick. Note that this was one of the first United Artists movies, but none of the movie paper for it we have seen has any studio information, and we have seen two entirely different types of lobby cards, so one might be an early re-release, but it seems impossible to tell which is which! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that in 1920, United Artists had the wacky idea of putting the titles of the movie in incredibly tiny letters at the bottom of the lobby cards, which made the lobby cards resemble large stills! Obviously, theater owners didn't like this idea, and it was soon abandoned.

Condition: good. Because the card had the title and the star's name in very tiny letters at the bottom , someone wrote "DOUG" and "MOLLYCODDLE" at top left in white paint. There is surface paper loss on the back of the middle of the left border, where a large piece of paper tape was roughly removed. There are two small pieces of paper tape on the back of other borders.
