Condition: good to very good. The poster was trimmed around the edges, to just within the edge of the image (all the borders were missing, plus a tiny part of the image). It had small paper loss at the crossfolds. There were creases, tiny tears, and tiny paper loss in the left half of the top foldline and in the top quarter of the vertical foldline, with a 4" tear near the top center of the image, in Dekker's forehead. There was minor wear on the foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty nicely backed, and the missing borders and the edges of the image were nicely restored.
