Tweede Front (literally translates to "Second Front"), the 1940 Dutch World War II (WWII) poster (with tagline that translates to "Mother, is that the second front that Daddy has talked about so often?") created by the Nazi German occupying forces to warn the Dutch people about the horrors of an Allied offensive (specifically from the Soviets), and featuring art of a child talking to his dead mother in the rubble of their house.
Artist: E
Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable collection of 14 posters that were printed in Holland during World War II while they were occupied by Nazi Germany. They are all propaganda posters designed to sway the Dutch people to support the Nazis and fear the Allies. These posters are surely incredibly rare (since any surviving ones would have likely been destroyed soon after Holland was liberated, and in addition, there were huge paper shortages at this time. We are auctioning the 14 posters in 14 separate auctions. This is an extremely rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these extremely rare posters, which likely should be displayed in museums. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster has some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in parts of the borders and some minor wear on the folds.
