And Murder!"; "The suspense drama of the year!"; "A story of temptation..."; about a detective trying to find bank robbers, and he finds an old girlfriend of one of the robbers, and she wasn't involved, but she hatches the idea that she could find the robber, and the detective could kill him, and they could keep the money, and he goes along because she is irresistible!) starring Fred MacMurray, Philip Carey (billed as "Phil Carey"), Kim Novak ("The word is out: 'Kim Novak is the find of the year!'"; "Introducing Kim Novak"; "Meet Kim Novak... She's what the boys have been waiting for!"; in her first credited role, after several very minor appearances), Dorothy Malone, and E.G. Marshall. Note that this movie has a similar plot to "Double Indemnity", and is supposed to be excellent, but it seems to never be shown! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still was glued to a stiff board after it was printed (this was something done by Columbia during this period, as it has a studio stamp and snipe on the back). It was likely a key book still, with an extra 1" at the top that had punch holes, but that area was trimmed off. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Note also these stills have photography attributed to either Lippmann or Van Pelt! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
