Date Sold 5/12/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 25 formerly tri-folded single-sided 27x41 one-sheets from The Weavers: Wasn't That a Time, the classic 1982 Jim Brown folk music documentary ("We felt that if we sang loud enough and strong enough and hopefully enough, somehow it would make a difference."; about the blacklisted group, The Weavers, the most important folk music group of the 1940s, and how they disbanded in the 1950s, but came together for a final concert at Carnegie Hall many years later) featuring Pete Seeger, Lee Hays, Ronnie Gilbert, Fred Hellerman, Arlo Guthrie, Don McLean, Holly Near, Peter, Paul & Mary. IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! These one-sheets were tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold). Because sending tri-folded one-sheets in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", would cost much more than sending them rolled in a tube, we have opened these and they will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition. See the one that we pictured to get a sense of the condition of all the posters.
