An Autographed Contract (measures 8 1/2" x 14" [22 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Johnny Nash was a black African American rocksteady rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer and songwriter from the 1950s to the present. Some of his hits include: I Can See Clearly Now, Tears on My Pillow, Rock Me Baby, and Hold Me Tight. Note that "rocksteady" is a type of music that began in Jamaica. It grew out of "ska" and was a precursor of reggae. Nash passed away in 2020 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnny Nash! There is a rider stapled to the contract that was initialed by Mr. Nash as well. Note that while Mr. Nash was only paid $52.50 to appear on the show, he did receive money for each additional replay of the show, plus more money if it was broadcast in other regions (this is on the back of the contract, which we did not photograph). Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Odyssey Group. Note that the contract has Mr. Nash's social security number on it, and we have placed a white box over that number in our image, but of course, the actual item does not have that white box.
