An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Touch of Evil, the classic 1958 Orson Welles Mexico drugs crooked policeman revenge crime film noir thriller ("The story of the strangest vengeance ever planned!"; based on the novel 'Badge of Evil' by Whit Masterson) starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich ("She felt his touch - once, and never forgot it!"), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Dietrich & Gabor billed as "'With Guest Stars' Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor"), Joanna Moore, Akim Tamiroff, Valentin de Vargas, and Victor Millan. Note that this movie was re-released in 1998, finally re-edited to satisfy the changes Orson Welles requested in a memo he wrote to the studio right after its first release when he found out the film had been cut. It took 40 years, but Welles' original vision was mostly restored. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened. There is writing in the top blank border that was partially erased. There are pinholes and surface paper loss in the corners and in the center of the borders, with some pinholes in the bottom center title area.
