Also included is a printed color folder (see below) (Learn More) The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter (released in the U.S. in 1991), the 1990 George Miller German/U.S. family fantasy adventure "sequel" ("Begin an all new adventure as a young boy returns to a world of wonder on the wings of his own imagination."; "Based upon Themes from the Novel by Michael Ende") starring Jonathan Brandis (as Bastian), Kenny Morrison (as Atreyu), Clarissa Burt, John Wesley Shipp, Martin Umbach, and Alexandra Johnes (as the Childlike Empress). Note that the book that the first movie that preceded this movie ("The Neverending Story") is surely one of the best children's movies of all time, and if you have never seen it (or have a child who has not), you should watch it together! However, please note that that movie did not tell the entire story of the book! It actually only covered the first half of the book (the second half picks up near where the movie ends, and Bastian saves the planet, but then becomes somewhat evil and battles with Atreyu, so it is not at all the feel-good story that the movie is). The author was so unhappy that he sued the producers, but lost. This sequel was made, but it didn't in any way show the second half of the book, and instead has a completely different story line. So if you REALLY want to know what happens after the first movie ends, read the book and don't watch this "sequel"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills, which measure 13 1/2" x 16 1/2" [34 x 42 cm], come with a folder designed to contain them that has a great full-color poster image on the cover and has a synopsis of the film in six languages on the inside cover. Note that this great promo item was "PRINTED IN U.S.A.", but obviously was intended to be distributed in multiple countries. Condition: very good to fine. The stills are in excellent condition.
