An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Unfaithfully Yours, the 1948 Preston Sturges music composer romantic love triangle infidelity murder crime mystery comedy ("'Darling, how could I ever doubt you?'"; "An original screen play written, directed and produced by Preston Sturges"; about a symphony orchestra conductor who is convinced his beautiful wife is having affairs, and he fantasizes about killing her lovers with gruesome results, but when he tries to recreate the fantasies in real life, things go massively awry!) starring Rex Harrison, Linda Darnell, Rudy Vallee, Barbara Lawrence, Kurt Kreuger, Lionel Stander, Edgar Kennedy, Alan Bridge, Julius Tannen, and Torben Meyer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and a few tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline. There were many smudges, creases, and tears in the blank borders, and the person who restored the poster painted over all of the blank borders to even them out, and they did a very nice job of it. Other than the above defects on the vertical foldline, the image area of the poster was in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and displays quite well!!
