Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Note that this VERY unusual movie had an equally unusual ad campaign! There were three different French one-panel posters, all photographic. This style with the female star shocked at the sight of "La Bete" is one we have never seen or auctioned before! The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
